Eerie (adj) - strange in a frightening and mysterious way

Melodies drowning in melody. Whispering voices buried beneath layers of swirling feedback. The feeling of an airplane taking off. Or of a dive into the sea.

Eerie wasn't born out of necessity, it started with a love of the things mentioned above. And it's not really a band either, more a case of a group of friends trying to capture a vision one of them had in his head for long. "Guitars" it kept saying, "and distortion and vocal harmonies, and that girl Sarah Peacock on slide". And the vision was indeed realised, though not exactly as planned. Maybe for the better, maybe for the worse. But here it is. Enjoy.

Eerie aka Eric Obo lives in Gothenburg a few months a year and in St. Helier, Jersey, the rest of the time.
